Our heat treating capabilities at Complete Heat treating encompass a wide variety of applications and part sizes. We offer annealing, quenching, tempering, and normalizing of fabrications up to 53' long and 22' wide, weighing up to 1,000,000 lbs. Open fire, atmosphere, and vacuum furnaces are available in multiple sizes and are capable of reaching up to 2200 ºF with heat outputs of 3,000,000 BTUs. We pride ourselves on versatility and maintain a number of different types of equipment to serve the varying needs of the heavy equipment, defense, power generation, and petroleum industries.
Quenching capabilities include a Tenaxol® polymer tank with a 20,000 gallons and a water tank which can hold up to 40,000 gallons, along with forced air quenching. Tenaxol® polymer quenching liquid is an engineered water-based quenching solution that includes rust preventative and provides a very homogenous quench without leaving a tacky residue on the metal surface.
Annealing options include full, sub-critical, and solution annealing processes. All processes are tightly controlled using proprietary technology and closely monitored for quality and consistency.
